If you’re a bride who knows exactly what they want, but we don’t quite have a design already in our range, we would love to work with you to create a unique design to suit your day.
The custom design process usually starts with us asking you a few housekeeping questions, such as design ideas, the wedding date and printing preferences, so we can ensure that we can work with you to get your invitations and other stationery designed and produced on a schedule that fits in with your plans.
Once we’ve made sure there’s a slot in our calendar and that we can offer exactly what you’re after we will book you in. An invoice will be sent to you and a 50% deposit will be due to confirm your booking. Then the fun starts. We will then send out a questionnaire where we will gather as much information as possible about your style, ideas and story as a couple. And we will have a bit of a chat about what you’re after. Even if you’re not exactly sure, we can work it out together.
This process can be quite intensive as it’s really important the design brief is as crystal clear as possible. Once the design brief is complete we will get you to read over it, and approve it. Then onto the designing. We take the design brief and all the bits of information we’ve gathered from you and start putting together design concepts.
The concepts are then whittled down and refined until we have a finished proof of the design. At this point we will check in with you again, you will get to see the proof and request any revisions. Once revisions are made and you’ve approved a final proof we will then send you an invoice for payment of the balance. And then it’s time for printing.
From start to finish this process can take several months, so we recommend contacting us as soon as possible to ensure there is a booking available.
